About me

My name is Bonnie Clarkson. I am a widowed farm wife with two grown daughters.

I believe that Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected for the sins that I and the world have committed. I go by the King James Version most of the time, partly because I have so many verses memorized.

I go to the Community Baptist Church in Pittsburg Kansas. I invite you to come and see what we have at our church. Worship Service starts about 11:00 AM Sunday morning.

I have only recently decided to spend more time and effort on my writing. I have several published devotions and have Christmas plays put on by two different small churches.

In these blogs I intend to share my answered prayers, what I learn from the Bible, and what I have published.

I belong to the Christian Writers Fellowship group that meets every first Saturday of the month at 9:30 am. We have devotions, writing exercises, and critiquing of the members who brought no more than 5 pages of their manuscript. It meets at Papa Don's in Fort Scott. Dues are $15/year.

We are planning a writing conference the spring of 2019. More details to come. There is also a youth writing contest for 5th-12th grades. Deadline is March 1, 2019. If interested, email me for a pdf file of the entry form.
