God’s
parables explain heavenly principles by relating them to earthly facts. These
symbols follow through in more than one way.
1. John
the Baptist prepared the ground for planting, like modern farmers do for wheat today.
(Matthew 3:2)
2. The
growing wheat waves back and forth in the wind while the church submits to the
Holy Spirit. Onlookers see the effect, but cannot tell where it came from or
where it is going. (John 3:8)
3. Mature
wheat is made into bread. When Jesus was mature, He became the Bread of Life.
(John 6:35)
4. Jesus
fed the Word of God and bread to the multitude. (Matthew 4:4, 15:36)
5. Jesus
said to feed His lambs, which leads to the Good Shepherd symbol. (John 21:15)
This is just a starter
list. It is well worth studying how other symbols link together.
